My 15 year old son attends a small Charter school. They needed an easy fund raiser and my husband suggested something simple like $1 candy bars after previous fundraiser items that were hard to sell. The kids were raising money for some expensive upcoming field trips.

The school contacted Fundraising.com for the candy. They profit is 40 – 50% per candy bar sold. We found it is much easier to sell some one 5 – $1 candy bars than a $5 box of candy. Everyone loves candy bars! Besides who can say no to spending only a dollar???

The kids knew these field trips were expensive and they all had a goal of how much candy they needed to sell to have part of the trips paid for.

The kids got permission to set up tables to sell the candy bars outside of local grocery stores and shopping centers.

The kids took the candy with them everywhere! They took it to schools sporting events , church and the youth recreation center. We also actually had great success setting up boxes for sale in local businesses and a few factory break rooms. People on a break love a treat!

The candy was a really easy fundraiser for the kids and the parents. The 30 kids raised $1800! Pretty great!!!!!
